Chantilly and really the entire state has been lucky to have three superstars from the same family run in the state of Virginia. First we had Sean McGorty (Stanford) who graduated back in 2013. We then had Ryan McGorty (William & Mary) who graduated in 2015 and this year we have senior Brandon McGorty.
All three brothers have been phenomenal runners and even better people. They have elevated the sport for the entire state.

Having two big brothers at very prestigious schools definitely made the decision tough for Brandon as he received offers from basically every school in the nation.
Today though he announced via twitter where he would be attending college.
That's right! Brandon has chosen to run at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. There he will see his brother for likely just one indoor and outdoor track season.
Brandon has risen to be the top 800m runner in the nation and this indoor season will be going after the 800m and 1000m national records. He already has one national record to his name with last year's indoor SMR.
He currently has pr's of 16:12 (5K), 1:05.34 (500), 1:48.58 (800), 2:25.81 (1000), and 4:13.31 (1600).
His most famous race though has to be the 2016 Dogwood Classic where he ended Drew Hunter's win streak.
