The Knights Crossing Invitational continues to grow into one of the biggest and most popular cross country invitationals in Virginia as this year's event at Green Hill Park gathered 46 schools. The top performance of the meet came from Glenvar junior Megan Marsico's meet record breaking performance as she bettered the 2006 time by current University of Arkansas star Catherine White by 8 seconds with her 18:01 victory. Marsico blew away a stacked field including many of the state's top tier runners with second place over a minute behind the defending Group A state champion.
