Antoinette Avant (Osbourn Park)
So Avant's secret definitely came out this week at the 6A North championships. She sprinted to a 7.14 in the 55 for the win but really stole the show with her 7.99 win in the 55mH. It is very clear now that she is on the verge of some really big post-season performances.
The best thing going for her though is she is in a program with a history of producing some very strong super-stars. Osbourn Park, year-after-year, gets their girls to perform at the highest levels during the post-season and that fact was verified yet once again at regionals. She will have some very stiff competition down at Boo Williams in a week but she certainly is going to be ready for it.
