Atlee's Ben Dejarnette will lead the field in the 3200 meter run in his second meet of the indoor season and last before the USATF National Cross Country Championships next weekend in Maryland. Dejarnette had no problem shaking off the race rust last week in the invitational mile at Virginia Tech as he defeated Millrose bound Tyler Stutzman in a 4:15 victory. Dejarnette will look to take care of the 3200 state qualifier this weekend. Next best in the field are Louisa's Thomas Porter, Jamestown's John Holt, and Midlothian's Brayden Burleigh as all three are capable of running in the 9:30's this Friday night.
Several contenders in the 1600 meter run with Billy Ledder from Gonzaga (DC) and almost a handful of Virginians. Ledder is coming off a US top 5 performance in the 1000 last weekend at Tech in 2:32.
