Parker's 18:29 performance last year at states was not only good enough for second but it was also just a second off of Libby Davidson's winning performance her freshman year. That means she is not only comparatively good but arguably on pace to be one of the all-time greats.
With Blacksburg now in 4A, the 3A division should open up for this sophomore but at the biggest of meets she will have no problem toeing up against the big stars of our state. That is why she is our #10 preseason ranked girl.
