Bishop O Junior Greczyn Pushed It To The Max at VISAA States

Some athletes like to save the best for last and that was exactly what Bishop O'Connell junior, Max Greczyn did this weekend VISAA States. After a successful and state champion XC season Max and his teammates turned their focus to the track. That is where Max was ready to compete and PR.

This past Saturday that is exactly what he did to finish second in both the 1600 and 3200. He missed winning both of these races by a combined 2.5 seconds with Daniel O'Brien taking the nods in both. His times though still very impressive: 9:53.40 (3200) and 4:26.02 (1600).

Those times were also personal records for Max meaning he closed the season out on a very high note. Watching the races also make these performances just that much better as he came from last to nearly first in both races.

Max will certainly be a force to be reckoned with outdoors and on some big stages over the next year and a half.
