Austin Gallant
One athlete to watch this outdoor season, especially when it comes to multis (pentathlon/decathlon), is Battlefield's Austin Gallant. He enters the outdoor season having lead the state for freshmen in the shot put while also ranking second in the 300 and 500. Talk about range!
Outdoors he will definitely be focusing on the 200/400 but don't be surprised to see him throwing the discus as well with that type of speed. The bottom line is he could be one of the best athletes Battlefield has had in quite some time and that is saying a lot.
