Pre-Season XC Rankings - Group AAA Girls Individuals

After settling for two state runner-ups last year to Stacey Nobles in cross country and 3200 meters in the outdoor state meet, Midlothian senior Kathleen Lautzenheiser (pictured by Linda D'Amato) is ready to return to her state championship glory from sophomore year when she won state titles in cross country and indoor at 3200 meters. Lautzenheiser has qualified two consecutive years for national competition individually after making it to Foot Locker Nationals as a sophomore and Nike Cross Nationals as a junior. Also running into late December as a freshmen as a member of the Midlothian girls team which qualified for NTN in 2006, Lautzenheiser looks to continue her trend of late cross country season racing this fall but not first before winning another Group AAA state cross country title.
