By the fourth hurdle, it was all over. That was the case in both the shuttle hurdle relay and in the championships 110mH final. In total the Oscar Smith Tigers left the meet Saturday with a total of five gold medals with some races still to be run.
The winning shuttle hurdle relay team was a team comprised of Kurt Powdar, Aaron Shirley, Shymeek Dixon, and Kevaughon Watson who ran in that order. Their winning time was 57.28.
Just a few minutes later it was time for the 110m hurdles final and just like the SHR he was gone from the 4th hurdle on. In this race Kurt crossed the line in 13.27 to win his second individual national title and set the state record. His team beats out Grant Holloway's 13.37 from 2016.
