Storyline To Watch: Loudoun Valley Seeking NXN 3-Peat

Two years ago Loudoun Valley made history as the first Virginia team to ever win the NXN title. Last year they repeated as champions and became the only team ever to win back-to-back titles. This year, they are going for history yet again as the Vikings try and win a unparalleled third title in a row.

Loudoun Valley does lose some big points from last year with Sam Affolder (1), Jacob Hunter (3), and Connor Wells (5) all now in the college ranks. Aside from them though they have one of the strongest and deepest teams in the nation.

In 2017 they averaged 15:21 as a scoring unit (top five), in 2018 they averaged 15:13, and this year they enter the season with a 15:32 average.

That returning average puts them within range of a title and with just a 10 second improvement average year over year they could once again be in the title hunt. You can also bet that this is what is on their mind as we speak and as they train to make history happen.
