At Thursday evening's 35th annual Judges Classic at Kernstown Battlefield in Winchester, Kevin Dowd (16:08) of Fairfax and Tammy Cheung (19:31) of Millbrook claimed individual titles. The Millbrook girls squeaked out a 1 point team victory against Jefferson High School from West Virginia behind race winner Cheung. The Potomac Falls boys had a strong opening meet finishing 18 points ahead of the runner-up squad from Clarke County. Complete results are now posted.
