There are 104 athletes racing in each race and there are 12 races. That is 1248 athletes and out of those only eight have won a cross country state title before. Many others have won a track title too but it is safe to say that out of these 1248 athletes that over 1,200 are looking for their first state title.
Here are our seven athletes who we think have the best chance at winning that first state title.
