5. Rachel Mudd (Atlee) - Class 5
Rachel Mudd was the favorite last year and technically enters this year with the best PR amongst her Class 5 competitors. She did not finish last year's race though due to injury and is currently just now getting back into race shape, at her high level.
This means she is getting to that point of being very dangerous on the XC course and realistically she is just one great race away from winning that state title.
