Freedom Relays Win MileStates According To Poll

A staggering 22,564 votes came in and with a huge 9,174 votes it was the Freedom Boys (Woodbridge) who won our poll for having the biggest performance from MileStates. Not only did they win the popularity contest on the poll but also won the 4x4 and 4x2 relay at Class 6 States.

The quartet of James Ansah, Jaylen Barringer, Trei Thorogood, and Nick Newman teamed up in both relays to win the 4x2 in 1:29.96 and 4x4 in 3:25.80.

Both times are extremely fast considering Boo Williams is a flat track but what is even more impressive is that these guys are all juniors. That sets them up really well for a huge senior year where they could seriously chase the state record of 1:26.21 in the 4x2 and 3:18.94 in the 4x4.

Their season bests in these two events were 1:28.79 and 3:21.80. They ended the season as VA #1 in both events.
