This week the VHSL has announce their early plans for what each sport will look like at States. These plans are not set in stone quite yet but will be finalized hopefully by their next meeting on September 3rd.
How To Advance To XC States
- Top 1 team from each region + Top 5 finishers at regional championship
--> This is a change from top 3 teams and 10 finishers
--> It has not be clarified yet whether this will be five finishers or five finishers not on that team advancing
How To Advance To Indoor T&F States
- Top 3 finishers in each event at regional championships
- NO State Auto-Qualifiers (Change)
How To Advance To Outdoor T&F States
- Top 4 finishers in each event at regional championships
- NO State Auto-Qualifiers (Change)
