MileStat.com's newest high school individual state cross country rankings as of October 22nd are released with the top 15 individuals (as well as bubble mentions) for Group AAA, Group AA, and private school as well as an updated "Cream of the Crop" top 15.
In addition to her recently minted MileSplit US #16 national ranking, Ariel Karabinus of Osbourn Park takes over the VA #1 ranking from the idle Stevens twins with a second straight course record performance. A traffic jam is being created at the top of the boys rankings with a half dozen runners knocking on the door of becoming the state's #1 ranked male.
Katlyn Ayers of Strasburg has risen to the #1 ranking in Group A as she has remained undefeated in all races this season. Adam Owens, 8th place finisher at Glory Days, is ontop of Group A boys with the rest of defending Group A state champion Clarke County squad's top five also ranked.
