Grassfield alum and Virginia native, Grant Holloway is your Olympic silver medalist! He ran a strong 13.09 to finish second behind Jamaica's Parchment who finished in 13.04.
Though Grant surely wanted gold, his finish was one of the most impressive hurdle races by an American in years. Especially considering that he must run Olympic quality times to just advance at the US Olympic Trials meaning he must peak multiple times in one season.
Grant was also the youngest competitor out of the top-five finishers by an average of over four years. That means this is only the start of what should be a golden career for Holloway.
