McLean junior and last year's state champion, Thais Rolly has taken seven weeks to get to the top spot in our subjective rankings but has bigger goals ahead. Rolly started the season ranked 6th, moved to 3rd to 4th back to 3rd and finally this week moved to first.
Rolly now leads the state in time (17:27.00) and in our subjective rankings. To achieve that she ran one of the smartest races we have ever seen at the MileStat XC Invite. She ultimately broke the meet record with her victory and did so by not leading until the final 1000m.
