CHARLOTTE, Nc. - After the dust settled, it was state champion Nathan Atchue finishing in a solid second place to advance to San Diego for Champs (formerly Foot Locker) Nationals. His silver medal time was a VA #2 14:49.
He was the sole VA boy advancing to San Diego and pending a strong finish at Nationals, he could move up in the subjective rankings with his strong victory over all the other elite VA boys.
