Grassfield girls (4x400 pictured above by Nicoll Knudsen) along with defending Group AAA state indoor champions Bethel figure to be the two teams who are most capable to challenge top state ranked Western Branch. Grassfield has two strong relays in the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays along with Amanda Smith in the 500 and Jazmen Townsend in the long jump as two of the state's best in their respective individual events.
