Indian River senior Brianna Selby, the reigning New Balance National Indoor champion, set the track on fire in her VHSL Class 5 state 55 meter preliminary this week.
The University of Southern California recruit ended up clocking a time of 6.76 seconds to lower her own state record of 6.78.
Just a year ago, she clocked a 6.84 at the state indoor championships to set what was then the state record in the 55m.
She has since eclipsed that mark now three times this season.
It begs the question, is she the sprinting GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) from Virginia.
