BLACKSBURG, Va. - The VHSL Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 State Championships will be contested on the Virginia Tech cross country course this season. This change moves the meet from Green Hill Park in Salem who hosted the meet from 2018-2023.
Up until 2018, all six classifications were contested together at Great Meadow in the Plains. Prior to that change the meet had been at Great Meadow since 1994. The move this year will mark the return to VT, 31 years after it hosted the meet last.
This change will put Class 1/2/3's times more in line with Class 4/5/6's times up in Oatlands as they are similar (or at least more similar) courses comparatively.
