Liberty's Danielle Jordan was selected as the Choice Hotels Runner of the Week, announced today by the Big South Conference.
Jordan (Medford, Ohio) placed 12th overall with a time of 18:07.25 at this past weekend's North Carolina Collegiate Cross Country Championships, host by East Carolina. She paced the Lady Flames to a first-place finish out of four teams in the open division, as Liberty won the event with 15 points – 59 points ahead of the nearest competitor.
Jordan and the Liberty cross country team will back in action next Saturday, October 30, when they travel to Rock Hill, S.C. to participate at the 2004 Big South Cross Country Championships hosted by Winthrop, as the men look to capture their seventh title and the women their fourth.
