VIRGINIA BEACH, VA -- The two race winners at the Southeastern District Meet both came from Western Branch. Western Branch's Brandon King won the boys race in a time of 17:02 and Amber Brain won the girls race in a time of 20:21.
The Indian River boys placed 5 runners in the top 14 to compile a total score of 37 points as the won the boys team crown. The Hickory girls were even more dominant in their victory as they put 5 runners in the top 11.
