MileStat.com staff writer Stacey Nobles interviewed one of the state's best coaches in the very specialized event of the pole vault.  Atlee High School has been one of the Central Region's top track programs under the direction of head coach Jim Triemplar, which a good amount of their team's points in championship season is produced from one event consistently by vault coach Kyle Bishop and his crew of vaulters. Atlee has had its share of state, regional, and district champions along with his numerous All-State and All-Region athletes in the pole vault. Coach Bishop has also helped develop many of his male and female vaulters to be awarded scholarships athletically to compete at the next level and see continued great heights in college track & field. Coach Bishop currently coaches two of the state's top non-senior vaulters in Cameron Overstreet (12'0") and Chris Pillow (14'6" PR).
