The Dukes' other scoring finishers were sophomore C.W. Moran (Potomac Falls, Va./Potomac Falls) in 31:17.2 for 35th, sophomore Bryan Buckland (Centreville, Va./Westfield) in 31:46.5 for 49th and junior Nick Noe (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) in 32:04.9 for 65th. Freshman Teddy Stevenson (Hartford, Conn./William H. Hall) clocked in at 32:26.0 for the 88th position, and freshman James Printz (Winchester, Va./James Wood) was 133rd in 33:20.6.
The race was won by freshman Josh McDougal from Liberty University, who covered the terrain in 30:06.4. N.C. State scored a meet-low total of 81, followed by William and Mary's 99 and Clemson with 103. The Dukes scored 177 behind Virginia's 118 and Duke's 129.
