DANVILLE, VA -- Will Worley of Patrick County and Maria Labiosa of Dan River both took home district titles as individuals and for their teams.
Labiosa easily won the girls race as she finished with a time of 20:52. Second place was a considerably large distance behind with Bassett's Brittany Miller coming in at 23:07. The Dan River girls, led by Labiosa, won with a total score of 43 points.
Worley won the boys race by a 20 second margin with his time of 18:17. The Patrick County boys, placing 3 runners in the top 15, won with a total score of 50 points.
