BRISTOL, VA -- Virginia Intermont College's Fernando Cabada finished 15th in the senior men's 12k at the United States World Cross Country Trials in Vancouver, Washington on Sunday. Cabada moved up from the middle of the pack in the second half of the race to place in the top that was run on a muddy grassy 2k loop. The race of nearly 100 of the US's best cross country runners was won by Dathan Ritzenhein in 36.59. Cabada will next compete in the US Indoor Track Championships in Boston February 25-27.
