Jullien (Jr., Athens, Greece) has remained the top men\'s 35 lb. weight throw athlete in the NCAA division I all season long.
For his indoor Hokie career, Jullien earned his second-career All-American honor for his fourth place finish in the weight throw at the 2004 NCAA indoor championships. He won the weight throw title at the 2003 and 2004 BIG EAST indoor championships and became Tech\'s first Atlantic Coast Conference individual champion last month taking the conference title in the weight throw. Jullien still holds the BIG EAST championship record in the weight throw, which was set in 2003, and was tabbed USTCA National Athlete of the Week for his performance. He even broke the ACC\'s four-year meet record on Feb. 17. Speaking of records, Jullien holds Virginia Tech\'s school and Rector Fieldhouse record along with Clemson\'s and North Carolina\'s track & field facility records in the weight.
Jullien is joined by Shannon Rowbury (Duke), Women\'s Indoor Athlete of the Year, Bob Pollock (Clemson), Men\'s Coach of the Year, and Dennis Craddock (North Carolina), Women\'s Coach of the Year, in the Southeast region honors by the USTCA.
