Mountain High Running Camp, a camp for high school cross country runners in Bristol, Virginia, will once again offer a number of full tuition scholarships to camp. The camp dates are July 11-16 and July 18-23. The camp is for middle and high schoolers of all abilities age 13-18, and features a staff of elite US, Kenyan and International runners along with internationally successful coaches. The scholarships are funded by Mountain High Running Camp, Virginia Intermont College and shoe company Mizuno, who will also be providing all runners at camp with Mizuno running shoes.
The 2004 recipients of the camp scholarship included Jarvis Jacobs of Albany, NY and Michael Chapa of Richmond Virginia, who was the 2004 Virginia state cross country champion.
