Hannah Frazier became the first state champion from Bishop Sullivan Catholic School in Virginia Beach and generates lots of hope for future state titles after the freshmen claimed the Virginia Independent Schools Division 1 state cross country title this past Friday at Woodberry Forest. Frazier has been part of a formidable duo this fall between herself and Catholic Schools State champion teammate Colleen Schrader, which also helped elevate their team to a fourth place team showing. While still not a year around runner yet with other commitments such as lacrosse in the spring and two-time World Championships qualifier in Irish step dancing, if Frazier continues to roll out impressive cross country performances such as her numerous sub 19 5K clockings as a freshmen including her state win, she may eventually show off her great and fluid running form on the track as well.
