Ahmed Bile did not have a long season as he missed much of the invitational season during injury, but upon his return just in time for the start of championship season, the Annandale junior proved himself to be the most talented and strongest among all runners in the state of Virginia. Bile won the Northern Region and Group AAA state individual titles after finishing fourth in his district meet then quickly rose to become a Virginia state champion in an thrilling last second kick and went onto the national stage next by qualifying for the Foot Locker Nationals with his fourth place finish in Charlotte for the South Regional.
