Desmonae Gray of Western Branch has yet to run in a 55 meter hurdles race this season, but no question that she is the best returning hurdler in the state as her junior year best 55 hurdles time of 8.10 puts her well ahead of the current state leading performance. In high school football, basketball and many other high school sports, college coaches and recruiters regularly check out various media publications and media websites which attempt to rank the top prospects in the country or within a state.
