The top 8 high school boys' performer in each indoor event in the state of Virginia as of January 20th. Somewhat overshadowed by Cody Snyder's 4:16 1600 and George Carter's 2:30 100 at the Liberty Invitational, Skyline sophomore Thomas Madden (pictured above by Andrew Kicinski) put together an impressive run and state leading performance in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:29.05. Madden just missed winning his first state title during the fall in cross country, but may be in great position to go for a Group AA state crown in the 3200 indoors.
