Virginia Intermont College's Corey Duquette added another title to his
2005 campaign by winning the 1500-meters at the Vancouver Sun Harry
Jerome Track Classic in Burnaby, British Columbia earlier this week.
Duquette came from behind in the prestigious international invitational
to take the win in 3:47.95, out kicking Mexico's Isaias Haro Cruz who
finished in 3:48.16.
Duqeutte's win at the Jerome Classic is added to his three other titles of 2005: the NAIA Indoor Mile, the Penn Relays 10k and the NAIA Outdoor 1500-meters.
Duquette would have won $1,000 for the performance, but turned it down to retain his final seasons of indoor and outdoor track collegiate eligibility
