Team Gains Three Spots in National Poll

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - William and Mary moved up three spots to No. 16 in the MONDO National Cross Country Poll this week despite having a bye-week from competition last weekend. This is the highest position for the team since being ranked 15th in the 2003 Preseason Poll. In the regional poll, the Tribe lost ground and slipped to No. 2 behind N.C. State.

This weekend should help solidify rankings in the region, as eight ranked teams will be competing at the Great American Festival in Cary, NC, including both the Wolfpack and Tribe. The men's race is scheduled to start at 9:55 AM.
