CHARLOTTE, NC -- Battlefield\'s Jason Driscoll had a fine showing at the Wendy\'s Invitational as he dipped under 16 minutes for the first time for 5,000 meters with a 15:53 clocking in the open boys\' race. Driscoll\'s time placed him second overall in the race. The Battlefield star is currently ranked 12th in the state. Abingdon\'s Griff Graves, ranked #9 in the state, led his squad to a fourth place finish (123 pts) in the 3A race with a time of 16:08 as he finished fourth individually himself. The #2 Group A ranked Patrick Henry boys (225 pts) finished sixth in the same race as Charlie Counts was the team\'s top finisher with a 16:45 clocking for 11th place honors. Female teammate Maggie Lester, ranked #6 in Group A, finished fourth in the girls\' 3A race with a time of 19:29.
