A smaller sized Peninsula Relays due to being held on the tail end of spring break for most schools in the Tidewater area, but the meet hosted at Hampton University's Armstrong Stadium was on Saturday not small on quality with more than its share of VA #1 performances including a US #6 400 run of 54.59 by Green Run senior Monica Williams. Others recording state leading performances included:

- 100 Meter Hurdles - Chantel Ray of Hampton flew over the hurdles with a 14.49 victory with Leah Lott of Landstown on her heels in 14.56. Next was Jazmine Vaughan of Phoebus in 15.39, Vamonie Boddie of Phoebus (15.65), Trena Shelton of Phoebus (17.51). - 100 Meter Dash - Justice Seward of Salem (Virginia Beach) sprinted 12.60 for the victory, trailed by Briana Taliaferro of Landstown and her 12.83, Cayla Blackwell of Menchville (12.89), Kennedy King ofPhoebus (12.94), Shamara Russell of Phoebus (13.03). Seward had the top time out of the prelims (12.49), followed by Blackwell (12.77), Taliaferro (12.79)
- 1600 Meter Run - Ariel Smith of Kecoughtan hustled to a 5:34.78 win
