Glass senior Mike Zajac went against the odds to place fourth at the Nike Indoor Nationals two weekends ago. After securing his first individual state title in the shot put to help lead Coach Mike Anthony\'s E.C. Glass boys to the Group AAA state indoor team title, Zajac is looking forward to his final high school outdoor track season this spring. It is in discus throw, an outdoor-only throwing event, that Zajac shines the most, but he has yet to earn a state title in the event to show for it. The University of South Carolina bound senior from Lynchburg would nothing better than to take his 181\'2\" discus best further to an outdoor state title.
