MOBILE, AL - Returning to his former homestate of Alabama, Abingdon sophomore Griff Graves finished second in the two mile run at the Mobile Meet of Champions with a time of 9:25.93 as the lone Virginian athlete competing in the meet. Graves time converts to a personal best 3200 meter time of 9:22.53, which ranks him first in the state currently in the event. Graves will be looking to add to his state titles in cross country and 1600 meter run indoors this June at the Group AA State Meet.
