What was your most memorable meet?
My most memorable race was the 2012 AAA Outdoor State Championships in the 4x800 meter relay. It was the culmination of three years of hard work on the part of my teammates, coaches, and myself. To come so close to a state championship was really a dream come true. And I had a PR split of 1:58!
What would you consider your biggest competition?
Biggest competition was the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals emerging elite mile. I've never been so anxious for a race and this subsequently led to me going out in a 60 second first 400 and dying at the end but still the experience was more rewarding and i PR'd with a 4:32.
Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most?
Winning the Peninsula District boys' team championship stands out the most to me. After several runner-up finishes by our team, we came together quickly and used o...
