What was your most memorable meet?
 

My most memorable race was the 2011 Central Region Outdoor Championship 3200 meter run. I was seeded 9th, and my goal was to sneak into the top 6 and qualify for states. I normally don’t have a very good kick, but I was able to finish strong and move from seventh to sixth in the last 200 meters, qualifying for the state meet. This was also when I set my 3200 meter PR. it was a great day.

 

Who would you consider your biggest competition?
 

Definitely the girls distance runners from the Central Region. Our region is so tight; the competition for All-Region spots is very intense. I’m very lucky to be in such a competitive region though; it gives me the opportunity to race in many fast fields.

 

Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most?
 

I would have to say winning the team district title in cross country my senior year. This was something we had been working towards for all o...
