MileStat.com is attempting to interview the vast majority of the 40+ runners over the next week that the website has selected to be on this year's All-MileStat.com Cross Country Team. We will announce the full team (7 members on each first, second, and third team) shortly after the Foot Locker Nationals next Saturday in San Diego.
A returning All-American indoors at the two mile, Lake Braddock junior Hannah Christen made for one of the best top two's in the nation for any girls' cross country team this fall with teammate Sophie Chase. Christen began her season with a win at the Monroe Parker Invitational against eventual Foot Locker finalist Caroline Alcorta in a time of 17:40. Christen would be 32 seconds faster at Burke Lake Park (2.98 miles) later in the season in a third place finish at the Northern Region Championships behind two Foot Locker finalist in Chase and Alcorta.
