River Ridge District Meet Information:

Site: Christiansburg Primary/Elementary School Grounds
Times:
2:00 Course is open
4:30 Girls Championship Race
5:15 Boys Championship Race
6:00 Awards on top field
Directions:
From South I-81:
Take I-81 North towards Roanoke
Take Exit 114 (Christiansburg/Route 8)
When you come off the exit, you will take a LEFT towards Christiansburg.
Once you take a left, you will be on Route 8/West Main Street. Continue on this street towards Christiansburg. You will go through one stop light and at the second stop light you will take a LEFT onto Depot Street.
You will follow Depot Street to the next light and you will continue straight through this light.
You will then travel about of a mile and you will see BETTY DRIVE on your LEFT. Take a LEFT onto Betty Drive and there will be parking attendants at the top of the hill.
From North I-81:
Take I-81 South towards Christiansburg
Take Exit 114 (Christiansburg, Route 8).
When you come off the exit, you will take a RIGHT towards Christiansburg
Once you take a left, you will be on Route 8/West Main Street. Continue on this street towards Christiansburg. You will go through one stop light and at the second stop light you will take a LEFT onto Depot Street.

You will then travel about of a mile and you will see BETTY DRIVE on your LEFT. Take a LEFT onto Betty Drive and there will be parking attendants at the top of the hill.

Entries Due: October 21, 2012 at midnight
Restrooms:
Will be located inside the Christiansburg Primary School on top of the hill.
Teams should come dressed and ready to run. There will also be two porta-johns available for use.
Parking for Buses:
Buses will be expected to park in the bus lane in front of Christiansburg Primary. There will be a bus parking attendant present to direct buses where to park.
Parking for Spectators:
Spectators will enter from the bottom of Betty Drive and be directed to park in the lots in front of Christiansburg Primary (school at bottom of the hill) and on the hill behind CPS.
There will be a $5.00 parking charge for every vehicle, as stated by the River Ridge District Committee/ADs. Please make sure to share this with your parents and other supports before they arrive at the meet.
Team Camps:
Team camps can be set up on the top field on either side of the finish line or on the lower fields (as long as they do not impede the runners or course).
Traffic:
Betty Drive will be blocked off at the top of the hill (just like at Blue Demon) and cars will be expected to enter from the bottom of Betty Drive (across from Rescue and Fire Department).
Awards:
The first place team for the boys and girls will receive a championship trophy. The top 7 individuals will be named First Team All River Ridge District and will receive medals. The 8th 15th placing individuals will be named Second Team All River Ridge District and receive certificates. The River Ridge District coaches will also vote on Coach of the Year for both the boys and girls teams.
T-shirts:
We will have long sleeve t-shirts for sell at a cost of $18.00 per shirt. Design will be posted on Milestat meet page.
Concessions:
We will also have concessions consisting of BBQ, hot dogs, Gatorade, water, and baked goods.
Region IV Entries:
Coach Don Cumbow has requested that ALL regional entries be submitted via Milestat at the following link:

Entries are due by: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28 at 11:59 pm!
