Dear Athletes, Coaches and Alumni:
On behalf of our staff and the University of Richmond we look forward to hosting the 2014 Spider Alumni Open scheduled for Friday, August 29 at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, VA. Races will begin at:
6:00PM--Mens 5K
6:30PM--Womens 2 Mile
We are thrilled to announce this years event will serve as the Mens and Womens USATF-Virginia Association State Cross Country Championship, Spider Alumni College Invitational and Spider Alumni Open. Both the mens and womens races are OPEN to ANYONE who wants to participateAthletes who wish to be considered for USATF-Virginia Championship awards must have a current 2014 USATF-Virginia Membership number. USATF-Virginia membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in the race, only for consideration of USATF-Virginia Championship awards.

Once again, EVERYONE is welcome to participate. Participants can enter through the OPEN entry procedure located HERE.
For the 2nd consecutive year the mens and womens races will be streamed live by Spider_TV. You will find completed details on the LIVE video coverage HERE the week of the event.
