2014-2015 Conference 3 Indoor Track and Field Championships

Meet Directors: Steve Davies and Dick Anthony (Thomas Dale High School)
Entries: All entries will be done through the Milestat entry system. All entries are due by 11:59 pm on Saturday February 7,2015. Each school may enter 3 individuals and one relay team in each event. A team may enter up to 6 individuals in an individuals event if they all meet the Conference Standard. Scratches may be made without penalty until 12:00 pm on Monday February 9,2015. Scratches should be e-mailed to Dick Anthony at Richard_Anthony@ccpsnet.net.
VHSL Declaration Rule: All entries will be final after Mondays scratch deadline. ALL ENTRIES REMAINING AFTER THIS DECLARATION DEADLINE WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL AND DECLARED AND WILL COUNT AGAINST THEIR VHSL EVENT LIMIT WHETHER THEY COMPETE IN THEM OR NOT. Coaches are reminded, this is a one day event, so please be aware of competition limits.
Facilities: The Arthur Ashe Center Track is 11 laps per 16oo Meters. It has 6 lanes 42 Wide. The surface is Vursa-Turf, a rubber surface on which no spikes are allowed! Only flats may be used. Failure to abide by this rule could result in disqualification.
There will be no dressing facilities available.
Equipment: Starting Blocks and Indoor Shots will be furnished by the meet management. All other equipment must be furnished by competing schools.Awards: Top two teams and top three individuals in each event will receive awards. We will also vote on a Male and Female Field Event Performer of the Meet, Runner of the Meet and Coaches of the Year.
Regional Meet Qualifying: The Top Six(6) Finishers in each event including relays from the Conference Meet and any athlete or relay team meeting the 2015 Regional Standards will advance to the 6A South Regional Meet.
Uniforms: All uniform rules will be enforced.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
