Event: 2016 Indoor Region Meet 1A/2A West Championships
Place: Heritage High School Indoor Track
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Entry/Scratches Deadline: All entries will be entered by each team on Milestat.com. Each team/school are allowed 3 entries per individual events and 1 relay team. If you have a forth individual then all entries must meet the regional standard for 2016. All times must be F.A.T. times or .24 added to all hand-held times and rounded up. All entries will be closed on February 10th at midnight.

11:30 a.m. Coaches Meeting and Shot weigh-ins
12:00- Field Events begin- Boys LJ, Girls LJ followed by Boys TJ, Girls TJ, Girls HJ followed by Boys HJ, Boys Shot and Girls Shot. Pole Vault TBA (Auburn HS)
12:00- G/B 3200m run
1:30- Finals Begin
4x 800 relay G 500m run G
4x 800 relay B 500m run B
55m hurdles G 1000m run G
55m hurdles B 1000m run B
55m dash G 300m run G
55m dash B 300m run B
4X 200 relay G
4x 200 relay B BREAK (20min if needed)
1600m run G 4x 400 relay G

4:00 AWARDS (coaches may pick up medal packets and sign out for them at any time)
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Trophies to the top 2 teams boys and girls.
State: The top 8 places will be scored and the top 6 places will advance to the 1A/2A State Championships at Liberty on February 24-25, all other advancement must have a State qualifying time or distance.
Track requirements: VHS has limited stands. (Coaches please keep teams off the track and infield.). The uniform rule will be in effect and under garments must be school colors and relays same color. Of course, we will use common judgment according to weather. Athletes must use pyramid spikes on track. We will provide all equipment.
Adding a 4th or more entry: Use the VHSL 1A/2A Conference standards (vhsl.org) Indoor track section or your AD will have a copy. All 4 or more entries must have Region qualifying standard.
Parking: Please, park all buses above the (behind school) Track parking lot on Saturday morning, there will be a double gate (yellow) to pull into to drop off athletes only. The public may pull park along the sides of track and in front of VHS.
Concessions: Will be open to public, coaches and athletes inside the school gym area.
Restrooms: Will be open to public, coaches and athletes inside the school gym area.
STATE ENTRIES: Must be entered on Milestat.com by you!!!!
