2016 CONFERENCE INDOOR TRACK MEET
LOCATION: BROOKE POINT HIGH SCHOOL
TARGET DATE: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9 Make up days February 10, 11, or 12 if needed (we will use the best day we get during the week or the following week) WE WILL LET YOU KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
TIME: 9:30 Track Opens
10:00 - Coaches meeting Press Box
11:00 - Field Events
11:30 - 4 x 800 Girls and Boys
1:15 - Rolling Schedule All running events are finals - Girls then boys
SCORING: We will score 6 places in all events. (10-8-6-4-2-1 Relays 10-8-6-4-2) Per NFHS rules.
AWARDS: In individual and relay events medals will go the top three.
REGIONALS: The top four (4) athletes in individual events and the top three (3) relays
advance to regionals. All times from indoor meets must be able to be verified by milestat.
ENTRIES: 3 athletes per event and one team per relay event. Coaches may enter more than 3 athletes in an individual event if all athletes have the minimum of a district qualifying time in a meet during the 2015-2016 Indoor Season.
Entries will be done on milestat. The deadline is Wednesday, February 3rd at 10:00pm. Please make sure you have sent all times and distances to at milestat. Updates (only) will be accepted thru noon on February 4th, but please do entries prior to the the 28th so we can begin the verification process. You must have all names and times on milestat. If a time or distance cannot be confirmed it will revert to an NT or ND.
You must list all possible relay participants in the relays. If you have all names correct and all entries on
milestat you do not have to send in the VHSL form or Hy-tek proof of performance. Also all potential relay participants must be listed on milestat.
Attached is the following file for the VHSL form which must be completed and e-mailed to me no later than noon Thursday, January 28th. Updates will be confirmed by milestat. You may use the Hy-Tek team manager file for your proof of performance as long as you have the meet and date included. If you do use the team manger file you will need to attach an alpha list for all possible athletes that could or will compete in the Championship. This form would also be due by noon on Jan 31.
ASSIGNMENTS: Please bring additional helpers.
