Registration/entries close on Monday 9/5 at 11:59PM.
Please enter only those athletes who will be competing.
There will only be 2 races: All Girls, All Boys.
Tentative Schedule:
3:00PM- Battlefield and course will be open
3:00-3:30PM-Pick up bibs/pins from finish line table
4:00PM- Girls Race
4:30PM- Boys Race
Scoring: Each race will be scored as a 5-team invitational.
Results: will be announced 15 minutes after the boys race at the finish line area.
Parents:
ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING IN REGENCY LAKES. You may be towed. All parking is on Millbrook's campus. It is about a 3/4 mile walk to the start line, so plan to arrive early enough to reach the middle field prior to the start of the races.
Buses: All parking will take place at Millbrook High School. Athletes may be dropped off at the west side of the school nearest to the battlefield entrance. Buses will then be directed to park in the stadium lot.
Course: Fast, 5,000m course on the historic Third Battle of Winchester battlefield, located adjacent to Millbrook High School's campus. The course will run on a variety of surfaces including grass, dirt, crushed stone, and some small gravel. The course consists of mostly flat land and small rolling hills. The course runs through cut grass, wide public walking paths, and a wooded first mile. Racing flats or rubber-soled XC spikes are best suited for this course. Plastic-plate track spikes are not recommended due to occasional loose gravel.
