2016 VHSL Group 2A Conference 38 Cross Country Championship Meet
MEET SCHEDULE
3:00-3:45pm PACKET PICK-UP at the Finish Line area
3:45 pm COACHES MEETING at the Finish Line area
4:00 pm MIDDLE SCHOOL RACE (2.0 miles) Boys/Girls run together (6th ,7th, 8th Grade)
4:25 pm GIRLS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
5:10 pm BOYS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
5:45 pm AWARDS CEREMONY
ENTRIES MUST BE ENTERED INTO MILESTAT BY FRIDAY OCT. 21st BY NOON.

Boys/Girls Varsity Entries: Only 7 members from each Conference team (grades 9-12) may run in the varsity race. Entries will be done on Milestat.com.
Boys/Girls Middle School Entries: Only 7 members from each Conference team (grades 6-7-8) may run in the middle school race. Entries will be done on Milestat.com.
The top 10 finishers in each of the Varsity Championship races (boys & girls) shall earn All Conference Honors for 2016.
ADVANCEMENT: The top 3 girls & 3 boys teams in each conference and the first 10 finishers not on an advancing team will advance to the Group 2A West Regional Meet on November 2nd, 2016 at Giles High School.
BUS PARKING: Park buses in front of the football field behind Giles High School.
COURSE: The 3 mile course is basically two loops mostly grass with one decent hill on the second loop. The start and finish are both on the baseball field. The Middle school is basically the second loop of the varsity course. The best place to watch the races is at the softball field. E-mail if you would like me to send you a map or wait until the entries are closed and I will be sending a map out.
TIMING: RunRoanoke.LCC will be providing the timing. All race results will be posted on Milestat.
*VERY IMPORTANT: NO SOCCER OR FOOTBALLS ALLOWED AT THE MEET.
